E. Leigh Jewelry is a company dedicated to crafting one-of-a-kind, intricately designed jewelry pieces that blend artistry with craftsmanship. At the heart of my work is the E. Leigh Signature Oils collection, featuring jewelry adorned with hand-painted oil paintings—miniature works of art that make each piece truly unique.

Deeply inspired by the landscapes of Utah and the surrounding regions—like the Rocky Mountains, Great Basin, and Southwest—many designs highlight wildflowers, wildlife, and natural elements native to these areas. Every piece starts with an appreciation for nature, using vibrant desert blooms, alpine meadows, and rugged red rock formations as inspiration for painted designs. Each creation tells a story of place, passion, and artistry, offering a meaningful way to carry a piece of the wild beauty of the American West wherever life takes you."

About me

Hi there, I’m Ester Leigh, the artist behind E. Leigh Jewelry.

My love for art started early, thanks to my grandmother, Victoria Valentine. She taught me at the Hermitage School of Arts, where I spent a decade immersed in various art forms, which laid the foundation for my creative endeavors.

I went on to study Art at Humboldt University, focusing on jewelry making. While there, I worked in the jewelry studio as a student and monitor, learning the ins and outs of metalsmithing and stonework. That experience helped me develop the skills and techniques I use in my work today.

Four years ago, I moved to a small town in Southern Utah, just outside Capitol Reef National Park. The desert landscape quickly became my biggest inspiration—from the colors of the wildflowers to the patterns in the local Wonderstones. It wasn’t long before I started creating jewelry that reflected the beauty around me.

E. Leigh Jewelry was born from this connection to the land. Each of the pieces I make carry a bit of the place I call home, and I hope they bring a sense of that beauty to you, too.
